ChatValhalla is a social chat service. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed when you use the site or installed web app.

Information you provide

• Profile or guest information such as nickname, age, country, city, community, interests, profile text and optional profile photo.
• Messages and other content you choose to send through chat features.
• Support or safety reports you send to ChatValhalla.

Information used to operate the service

ChatValhalla may use necessary browser storage for settings such as language, privacy choices, session state, message limits and app behaviour. Technical information such as basic device, browser, security and connection data may also be processed where needed to operate, protect and troubleshoot the service.

Payments

Payment details are handled separately on pay.chatvalhalla.com by the payment provider. ChatValhalla profile forms do not ask you for passwords, bank account details or full card details.

Optional analytics and advertising

Analytics and advertising technologies are optional and should remain disabled unless you allow the relevant category in Cookie Settings. You can change your choice later.

Automated/Valhalla Profiles

Some profile content may be provided by ChatValhalla as clearly labelled Valhalla Profiles (VP). These profiles are not presented as real individual users.

Information may be processed by service providers that help operate hosting, payments, security or other site functions. ChatValhalla does not ask users to enter payment card details into chat profile forms.

Retention and deletion

Information should be kept only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, security, dispute handling or legal requirements. Retention periods may differ by type of information.

Depending on your location, you may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability of personal information. You can also change optional cookie choices through Cookie Settings.

ChatValhalla is intended for adults aged 18 and over.

Security

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect the service, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Never share passwords, payment credentials or sensitive financial information in chat.
